Terms and Conditions Policy

1. Appointment-only service

  • All our medical services, both in general medicine and specialties, require advance appointment scheduling.
  • No patients are seen without a prior appointment under any circumstances.

2. Appointment confirmation

  • Appointments must be confirmed between 48 and 24 hours before the scheduled time.
  • Confirmation is done automatically through our BOT or via direct WhatsApp with our administrative staff.

3. Payment policies

  • We accept cash, debit/credit cards, SINPE Mobile, and bank transfers.
  • Payments made in cash, SINPE, or transfer are subject to a 4% value-added tax (VAT).
  • Card payments already include this VAT.

4. No-shows and penalties

  • In case of not showing up for the appointment without prior notice, 50% of the total consultation value will be charged.
  • This policy aims to respect our professionals' time and ensure access to appointments for other patients.

5. Medical record confidentiality

  • All clinical records are stored digitally and securely.
  • Our patients' medical and personal information is confidential and will be treated under the Personal Data Protection Law regulations.

6. Minor care

  • We offer services for minors in specialties such as pediatrics, psychology, among others.
  • Every minor must be accompanied by their parent, mother, or legal guardian.

7. Expected conduct in the clinic

  • We ask all our patients and companions to maintain a respectful attitude towards medical staff, administrative staff, and other users.
  • Statera Medical reserves the right to suspend care in case of offensive or disrespectful behavior.

8. Medical insurance

  • We currently work with the following insurers: Pan-American Life Insurance Group (PALIG), BMI, and Salud Primero.
  • It is recommended to consult with the clinic's service number beforehand.
