Hello! My name is Hazel Alpízar, a physical therapist focused on children.

My passion for physical therapy began 21 years ago, with my aunt's knee replacement which led me to know CENARE and fall in love with my profession. I finished my degree and continued with my master's in Palliative Care, where I have worked in Pediatric Palliative Care for 17 years.

I have been a technician and expert in animal-assisted therapies for 12 years. I participate in the Neuromuscular Clinic at HNN since 2015, Yoga teacher for children in 2019, aromatherapy and sound bowls.

My goal as a therapist is for patients to achieve their highest functional level, improving their motor skills, balance, strength, endurance, coordination and sensory integration.
